It's Getting Colder and We're Getting Closer!

Field Hockey: The girl’s field hockey team played a total of two games this week. On Tuesday the team headed up to Dudley to play Shepherd Hill Regional High School. The game ended in a 4-3 defeat of the Naps. On Thursday, the Holy Name girls played at Foley Stadium. They faced Doherty. The final score was 7-0 Holy Name. This game gave the Napoleons the final points to qualify them for districts. The girls have their final two games of the regular season this week. They play SPM on Tuesday(10/26) at home, and Burncoat on Friday(10/29) at Burncoat.

Football: The Holy Name boy's football team played at Foley Stadium yesterday at 1pm. They faced off ina  league game against North. The final score was 40-0 with touchdowns scored by Anthony Hodges, Kevin Donohue, Quran Wright, and Seamus O'Sullivan. This is the boy's 6th straight win, bringing their current record to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in their league. They play Doherty at Holy Name next Saturday at 1pm. This game will hopefully clinch their spot in the playoffs.

Girl's Soccer: With two wins this week over North and Doherty,  the girl's soccer team has some serious momentum going into their last few games of the season. They play against Sutton tomorrow at 3:30pm at Holy Name. A win in this game will clinch their spot in the District Tournament. They have another big game on Thursday night where they will be playing St. Peter Marian at Bowden Field in Sutton at 6:00pm. Show your support and come cheer the girls on as they march closer and closer to their ultimate goal of back to back Division II District Champions!
